RSR 970

The FISH EAGLE RSR 970 is a transportable, land-based, continuous scanning surveillance radar that is optimised for coastal surveillance applications.

The unit consists of a self-contained local control station and a separately deployable telescopic antenna mast. The local control station is equipped with an operator’s terminal, communications equipment, power generator and environmental management systems. The telescopic antenna mast can be extended with the aid of a hydraulic system and is available in a 5 m and a 15 m configuration.

The system is optimised for the detection of both surface targets and low-level air targets.

The system has an instrumented range of 40 km.
