RSR 210N - 2D Naval Radar 1

    The RSR 210N is a lightweight X-Band 2D naval air/sea surveillance radar designed for application on smaller naval and coastguard vessels. This radar, which provides coverage to beyond 50 km, may be supplied with a dedicated console or may be interfaced to a Combat Management System. Whilst it is particularly suited to helicopter support operations aboard ship, it is also applied in a general surveillance and gunfire support role. The technology applied in this system is derived from the RTS 6400 tracking radar currently in service with the SA Navy.

StealthRad ™ - 2D Surveillance Radar 2

    The StealthRad™ product range has been developed in response to increasing demands for persistent, all-weather and low visibility situational awareness of borders, strategic infrastructure, marine protected areas, and inland waterways. StealthRad™ is a range of cost-effective, lightweight, Low Probability of Intercept (LPI), Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radars.

    Products in this range can be applied in multiple roles, and provide for a range of features that can be tailored to specific user needs. The sharing of technology in hardware and software sub-systems ensures cost efficiency within the StealthRad™ product range. The products can be supplied with the following modes of operation:

    • 360 Degree continuous scanning surveillance used for continuous air and surface surveillance.
    • Sector scanning surveillance used for detection and identification of slow-moving surface and low elevation targets such as people, small boats and helicopters.

    StealthRad ™

    The RSR 904/906 continuous scanning surveillance radar is optimised for the simultaneous detection of both air and surface targets.

    It forms part of the RSR 904/906 product range of Fully Coherent, Low Cost, Light-weight, Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radars.

    FMCW provides a cost effective way to achieve coherent operation and the low transmitted power levels make the RSR 904/906 ideal for covert operations. The low power levels also increase reliability and reduce component costs.
